What does the VIS part mean?
VIS (Vehicle Identifier Section) is a distinctive section of the VIN code.
The last eight characters of the car body number occupy positions from the 10th to the 17th, while the last four characters are always numbers.
You can VIN check for free via VinRush www.vinrush.com/
The VIS code is the last part where the decryption of the VIN code is completed. As a rule, the 10th symbol contains information about the model year or year of production of the car by the body number, the 11th symbol is information about the factory where the Assembly was made. The other numeric characters are the car's serial number.
Thus, you now know how to find out the complete set of cars by vin or any other information about the car. If you do not want to remember this amount of information, just use our online VIN code verification service without any restrictions.
